Hey, I’m a first-time dad who is 19 with a daughter who’s in the PICU and has currently been here for since she was born. She has a trach and also a G-tube.

My daughter continues to fight through so much at such a young age. She has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension, ASD (Atrial Septal Defect), VACTERL Association, and Asplenia.My daughter pulmonary hypertension also causes her to have serious spells whenever she becomes sick, making even common illnesses extremely dangerous and difficult on her small body. She has now been in the hospital for over a year, facing countless procedures, treatments, medications, and daily monitoring. Despite everything she endures, Urie continues to show incredible strength, resilience, and courage every single day. Our family is doing everything possible to stay strong for her and make sure she receives the best care and support throughout this journey. The emotional, physical, and financial challenges have been overwhelming, but we continue to hold onto faith and hope for better days ahead.
