To my community and extended network,
This is me, still smiling while I fight through a situation that has pushed me to the edge.
I am an innocent victim of serious white collar crime.
I am fighting this alone while still having to support my basic living expenses alongside the massive amount of unpaid labor required to respond to what has happened to me.
I hired a licensed Texas attorney because I believed he was there to protect me. Instead, I have spent more than nine months dealing with the damage that followed and fighting conduct that never should have happened to me in the first place.
Since May 2026, this has effectively become my overtime, 24 hour, On-Call job.
Except I do not get paid for it.
Most weeks, I spend between 50 and 80 hours researching, investigating, drafting, reviewing records, organizing evidence, managing litigation, communicating with agencies and other parties, and trying to recover enough intentionally concealed evidence to understand the full scope of what happened.
I am fighting multiple attorneys with far more resources than I have, people who have demonstrated no regard for the truth, the law, right and wrong, or basic human decency.
I have watched people I once trusted deny what happened, intentionally distort the truth, make false statements under oath, produce fabricated documents, attempt to intimidate me into silence, and who continue trying to escape accountability by any means necessary, while I am left carrying the consequences.
And I am still here.
I am still fighting.
I will continue fighting.
I will follow the evidence wherever it leads, and I will pursue accountability for the people who harmed me and continue to harm me.
I do not back down from a fight. I do not tolerate abuse. And I do not stand by while preventable danger is allowed to harm innocent members of my community.
I am Masha Anna Hearthen, and I will win this fight.
While I am fighting this, I still need to eat.
I still need somewhere safe to live.
I still have health related expenses.
I still need transportation, phone service, internet, records, court expenses, printing, postage, and all of the ordinary things a human being needs to function.
Right now, I do not have an income capable of covering those things.
That is why I am asking for help.
I am asking for help staying safe and stable while I deal with something that has taken over nearly every part of my life.
I am not giving up this fight because money is tight.
Money is not allowed to determine my access to justice.
And yet, do you see how it is?
The fact that I have had to live without income for nine months and work overtime hours without pay just to obtain basic answers and pursue justice should be a grave warning to anyone who believes we have equal access to the legal system.
We do not have equal access.
We have a pay to play system where people who have already been harmed can be forced to spend enormous amounts of money, time, and labor simply to participate in the process of seeking justice.
If justice requires an 80 hour work week without pay from the very victim of the crime, something is profoundly wrong with our justice system.
When the question becomes who can go hungry the longest, who can afford the most lawyers, or who can tolerate the most abuse before they collapse, then access to justice becomes dependent on endurance and money.
That should concern every single citizen of The United States of America.
The case is public. Anyone who wants to understand why I am asking for help can look at the record and see what I have been fighting.
I have spent my life working hard and helping other people whenever I could.
I am always the first person to help.
The work that has put me in the position of needing financial support is part of that very same instinct to help and care for others.
I am fighting for myself, but what I am uncovering impacts those far beyond me. This fight matters to every person in Texas, and every person in this country, who relies on the belief that the legal system will protect them when they have been harmed. I am fighting for myself, and for every single person in this country who believes in safety, accountability and truth.
Right now, I need people to show up for me and return some of that support.
If you can contribute, any amount helps me stay safe and stable while I continue fighting.
If you cannot donate, please share this page. It may reach someone who can help financially, legally, professionally, or simply help more people see what is happening.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me get through this.
And thank you, especially, to the people who decide to help now.
P.S. My dog says thank you as well.
