I as long as a team from my college, Summit International School of Ministry, have an opportunity to serve at a ministry on an island in Uganda for 2 weeks! We will also be able to help Pastor Peter Namowa, an alumni who plants churches in this country. This opportunity is something that I’ve prayed about and feel like the Lord is pushing me toward. Being at Summit has truly prepared me to “Live for the Benefit of Others” (our school motto) in ways I feel like could help me with mission trips like this one. Summit, though, has not prepared me financially (go figure), and hopefully that’s where you come in! The Lord has given me a peace about the trip and the finances and so with your prayerful and supportive donations this trip will be a possibility for me. We will be working with school aged kids, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, doing seminars, sharing testimonies, helping clean, doing everything with excellence in whatever capacity is needed. Your donations can help give me the opportunity to minister in ways I’ve not been able to before and I would be so grateful!
