Four years ago, my life changed forever after I became paralyzed following my mandatory Moderna Covid 19 vaccination. Since then, my service dog Storm has been my independence, safety, and support.

Recently, Storm was diagnosed with a tumour and now requires surgery. While we are hopeful, she will no longer be able to continue working.

I am now facing the heartbreaking reality of funding and training another service dog while also covering Storm’s medical and retirement care. Storm will continue living with me receiving holistic vet care.

A fully trained service dog can cost up to $60,000 in Canada and many programs have years long waiting lists.

I will continue posting updates and receipts.
