I had a cancer diagnosis before my husband and I were able to have children. We qualified for assistance with fertility preservation through the Livestrong foundation. We were blessed with 2 healthy embryos. Unfortunately, after cancer treatment, I had some residual effects that have made me unable to carry our embryos. I have had 5 broken bones, and I am traveling out of state for intermittent infusions which I have recently learned stay in my bones forever. This medication can cross placenta and severely harm or kill a baby. I cannot bear the thought of giving up or disposing of our embryos, but going through an agency and hiring a gestational carrier are shockingly expensive. We would greatly appreciate any blessings and prayers. Our costs are much higher than the goal, but we would appreciate any help.
