My name is Mark Foraker Jr, and in one moment of raw fear and anger, my life was turned upside down. It started when a woman nearly hit our car, then aggressively approached and tried to harm my fiancé. The encounter was captured on video, and it has since gone viral. I feel we should never have to tolerate such abuse, especially in a civilized high trust society, this behavior cannot be allowed or accepted. I aggressively spoke my mind and it’s cost me everything.

What followed was swift and devastating.

I was immediately fired from my job. My family and I have been doxxed, harassed, and threatened. A large group showed up at my father’s house within an hour, looking for me and my family to do harm. My children had to be sent away to relatives for their safety. The police are struggling to contain the situation, and we’re living in fear every day. All because I reacted poorly in a high-stress confrontation where I felt my loved one was in imminent danger.

This has spiraled far beyond accountability. A single mistake, caught on camera, has cost me my livelihood, endangered my family, and turned me into a target for a mob that wants total destruction—not justice.

We’ve always tried to live quietly and provide for our kids, help others, contribute as much as we can and continue to be upstanding citizens in our community. Now everything is in pieces. I’m not bending the knee to cancel culture or apologizing for protecting my family. But, I am asking for help to rebuild: legal support, security for my loved ones, and a chance to get back on our feet.
