Helping Coaches and Athletes Follow Jesus Christ

Every game has a scoreboard, but the greatest victories are never measured by points. They are measured by lives transformed through Jesus Christ.

My name is Junbert Quirequire, and I have the privilege of serving with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)in the Philippines. My mission is simple: to lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Every week, I travel to schools, basketball courts, volleyball gyms, and communities to meet athletes where they are. Through team huddles, one-on-one discipleship, Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and leadership development, we are sharing the hope of the Gospel with the next generation.

Sports provide an incredible platform to influence lives. Athletes learn discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and sacrifice—but they also face struggles like anxiety, peer pressure, temptation, broken families, and uncertainty about their future. Many have never heard that their true identity is found in Christ.

Why I Need Your Help

This ministry is made possible through the generosity of individuals who believe that the Gospel belongs in every school, every team, and every community.

1. What we are raising the funds for

I am a full-time missionary, we are raising funds to support our campus sports ministry, focused on reaching and discipling student-athletes and coaches. Through weekly huddles, mentoring, outreach events, and leadership development, we aim to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.

2. How the funds will be used

The funds will be used for:

1. Discipleship materials and training resources
2. Weekly huddle gatherings and outreach activities
3. Leadership development for student-athletes and coaches
4. Transportation and logistics for ministry work
5. Events such as camps, tournaments, and faith-based programs
6. Support for staff and volunteers serving in the ministry
7. To buy bibles for our coaches and athletes
8. House rentals, bills and others

We are committed to using all resources with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

3. Why this campaign is important to me,

The campus is a strategic mission field where young people are shaping their identity, values, and future direction. Many student-athletes are searching for purpose, truth, and hope. This ministry provides a platform to guide them toward Christ, build their character, and develop them as future leaders who will influence their communities and the next generation.

4. How much we are raising and why your support is needed

We are prayerfully raising $1,500 to sustain and expand this ministry. Your support will help us:

1. Reach more campuses and teams
2. Train and raise new leaders
3. Provide consistent discipleship and care for athletes
