What is Soapbox?
Soapbox is self-hosted, decentralized social media. Anyone can use our open source software to start their own online community. Soapbox is an alternative to Mastodon with a focus on customization and the free exchange of ideas. When you host a Soapbox server, you'll be able to talk with anyone on Mastodon and the Fediverse.
Soapbox is completely free and open source (FOSS) software, available for anyone to use. We never charge for our product, and rely on generous community support to fund our work. Thank you!
