Women fought for years for their own sporting divisions. Today, biological men are stepping into their sport and beginning to displace biological women from points and payouts and in some cases, dominating. The Professional Disc Golf Association, the governing body of the largest competitive disc golf organization in the world, has welcomed biological men into female protected divisions of competitive disc golf. The male competitors are beginning to steal large payouts, prizes and points from the rightful recipients, the true female competitors. The PDGA offers a Mixed Professional Open (MPO) and Mixed Amateur (MA1, MA2, MA3 etc) divisions where both male and female competitors are welcomed, but due to the adoption of IOC standards, males have been allowed to compete in female divisions as long as certain criteria are met. Biological men have countless genetic structural and muscular advantages over biological females which give them a competitive edge over females.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for impacted women who are enrolled in affected PDGA sanctioned events beginning 4-21-2022. The idea was born with a successful grassroots fundraiser after the USWDGC in 2021 and continued with three other A-Tier and major tournaments, raising nearly $3,000.00 for ten players. We will use donated funds as they come in, disbursing them to players who are willing to accept until a resolution is reached with the PDGA. In professional divisions, cash will be disbursed via online payments. In amateur divisions, local disc golf shops or clubs stores will be used to purchase gift cards in the amount of the deficit payout for merchandise payout. Cash or merchandise (depending on professional or amateur division) will be offered to each player affected by the disrupted payout. The current beneficiary (PDGA event) will be announced on Save Women's Disc Golf Facebook page. Reach out to us if you know of an impacted event. We will do our best to cover all affected events but depending on available funds, that may not be possible. At this time, we will maintain our focus on US events, but any nationality of player will be eligible for benefit. Please continue supporting as we grow with a goal of rewarding all displaced females with their rightful prizes until the PDGA stands with their female competitors.
Thank you in advance to each donor. The PDGA will not stand up for the women at this time, so we must stand up for them so that women can continue competing and receiving the rightful prizes that they are due. Follow Save Women's Disc Golf on social media at facebook.com/shethrows .

XY does not equal XX

Keep up the good work!
Thank you Save Women’s Disc Golf for uplifting and recognizing the names of female bodied competitors being displaced by a male bodied competitor in the female professional open division.
XX=Female=FPO (or MPO) XY=Male=MPO It's pretty simple...
