My name is Sue McMahon Anderson, and I'm here on a deeply personal mission. My son, Scott McMahon, was taken from us far too soon—a tragic loss that has left our family heartbroken. Scott wasn’t just my son; he was the kind of person who made every moment count, always lending a hand to those in need and taking immense pride in his work as a licensed builder.

Scott lived for building things—whether it was homes for clients or gathering spots like the one we shared at his old garage. It was more than just a space; it was where connections were made, laughter echoed, and memories unfolded around that stove of warmth. Scott’s dedication to his craft was unparalleled, often dedicating much of his time to others rather than focusing on his own home.

Even in death, my son’s love for construction continues—he had started building a new garage before he left us. It wasn’t just any structure; it was an extension of the place where we remember him most fondly: sitting around, sharing stories and making connections with friends.

We want to honor Scott by completing this project that meant so much to him. His vision for his own space is something I know he would have loved—meticulous in detail just like everything else he touched. This isn’t about us; it’s about carrying on the legacy of a man who always thought of others before himself, someone who left an indelible mark not only on our hearts but also on all those whose lives he touched through his deeds and character.

Michael Galati has been a part of the McMahon family since his son entered into Pre-K with Scott's daughter. Scott and Mike became good friends helping in and enjoying many school and church events. Mike is working with the family on paying all the vendors and contractors directly from the fund account. Any remaining balances after the garage is finished with be distributed to the family.
