Saving for first car

I have never gotten a chance to get enough money to get a car. Soon as I was 17 I was kicked out of my home and was homeless for a year. As soon as I had $800 one of my friends robbed me and trashed my tent. I'm still working to get a car but with rent and other bills it's making that goal really hard.
