Save a Disabled Veterans Collapsing Roof

Headline: The system failed him. The damage is severe. We are stepping in to help.
A few months ago, a disabled military veteran reached out to us at Covenant for Forgotten Warriors (CFW). In January, he used his hard-earned benefits to buy what he was told was a stable, move-in-ready home.
Instead, he moved into an immediate structural crisis.
The Reality: Within weeks of moving in, water began leaking into his bathroom and cracks started splintering across the ceiling, with the popcorn plaster actively peeling off. Some structural cracking has also been noted. A visual inspection of the roof reveals a sagging roofline and shingles that appear completely past their end of life.
As a disabled veteran on a fixed income, he cannot carry the sudden, massive financial burden of a collapsing roof alone.
The Investigation: Our media arm, True Signal Media, is currently digging into the paperwork to understand how this happened. Original listing photos showed a pristine kitchen ceiling, yet the closing date was delayed a week specifically to address "kitchen ceiling issues."
We are actively investigating whether these critical roof defects were known and allegedly withheld prior to closing, and we are working to review the property disclosures and VA appraisal records.
Why We Need You: While we pursue accountability and look for answers, the rain isn't waiting. Water is entering this veteran's home, creating immediate risks of further structural damage and mold.
He needs a completely new roof to make this home safe. 100% of the funds raised here will go directly toward the materials and labor required to tear off the failed roof and rebuild it properly.
Please donate if you can, and share this link to help us spread the word. Let's show this veteran that his community won't leave him exposed to the elements.
