In mid-October, Sarah had to go to the hospital because her pregnancy was very difficult, she could not eat, and was not healthy enough to give birth. She was diagnosed with Esophogeal Cancer adrinocarcinoma, and had a c-section and surgery at the same time to deliver her baby and remove a tumor larger than the baby, as well as another tumor in her bowel tract.
Recovery was very difficult. Sarah and her husband own their own business, and have 8 other children. Recovery was very slow, and Sarah had increasing difficulty eating, and continually lost weight. The cancer has been very aggressive in attacking her stomach, and just after her 18th wedding anniversary, Sarah received a terminal diagnosis; due to the rate at which the cancer has metastasized, she was told that she had less than 6 months to live.
Unfortunately she did not even make it that long, as she passed away on March 12, 2023, at 1:15pm. She goes to the Lord, to join her daughter Emma, who died in 2019. She is survived by her husband Ryan, and her 8 children.
The goals are to pay off medical expenses, pay for burial costs, bereavement counseling for the Grant family, the needs of the Grant children, and other costs associated with this tragedy.
We thank every one of you for the generosity you have shown in the past and present, both in financial aid and in prayer. May God bless you!
