Support the Grant and Family

Campaign Created by: Audrey

The funds from this campaign will be received by Sarah Grant.

Goal: USD $350,000
Raised: USD $ 309,339

In mid-October, Sarah had to go to the hospital because her pregnancy was very difficult, she could not eat, and was not healthy enough to give birth. She was diagnosed with Esophogeal Cancer adrinocarcinoma, and had a c-section and surgery at the same time to deliver her baby and remove a tumor larger than the baby, as well as another tumor in her bowel tract.

Recovery was very difficult. Sarah and her husband own their own business, and have 8 other children. Recovery was very slow, and Sarah had increasing difficulty eating, and continually lost weight. The cancer has been very aggressive in attacking her stomach, and just after her 18th wedding anniversary, Sarah received a terminal diagnosis; due to the rate at which the cancer has metastasized, she was told that she had less than 6 months to live.

Unfortunately she did not even make it that long, as she passed away on March 12, 2023, at 1:15pm. She goes to the Lord, to join her daughter Emma, who died in 2019. She is survived by her husband Ryan, and her 8 children.

The goals are to pay off medical expenses, pay for burial costs, bereavement counseling for the Grant family, the needs of the Grant children, and other costs associated with this tragedy.

We thank every one of you for the generosity you have shown in the past and present, both in financial aid and in prayer. May God bless you!

At 1:15 pm Sunday, 12 March, Sarah Grant went to her eternal reward. After receiving Extreme Unction and the Apostolic Pardon from Fr. Terra, FSSP, we prayed a divine mercy chaplet. When it ended, she breathed her last. The cancer was just too agressive and it caused her organs to fail rapidly a few days before. She was very peaceful, and spoke often to her husband about being consigned to death if that is God's plan. She suffered joyfully, and without fear in her last days. Please keep the Grant family in your prayers.

Today Sarah is inspecting a drawing from her oldest son from the final episode of Transformers prime. That show became important to her after her brother died in 2018, because theybused to watch it together.

On Saturday 25 February, Sarah was discharged from the Hospital, but she was not in good shape, so she was transferred to hospice while she and her husband work out the next steps in treatment. She is currently been made comfortable, but is still suffering very much in her stomach because of the cancer spread. Please continue to pray for a miracle!

We are asking everyone to pray, through the intercession of the servant of God Fr. Aloysius Ellacuria, that Sarah will receive a miraculous healing from her cancer.

Fr. Aloysius was a holy Claretian Father that also knew some of Sarah's extended family. He has been known to work miracles, and we are asking everyone to pray for his intercession.
