Hi, I’m Samantha Joy. I live in Arizona and am part of Living Streams Church. Over the past several years, the Lord has been growing in me a deep love for serving people across cultures and communities. Through opportunities to serve both locally and internationally, God continues to teach me about community, gratitude, obedience, and the beauty of empowering the very people we come alongside to serve.

This summer, I am stepping into a season of obedience—one marked by trust, availability, and a wholehearted “yes” to where the Lord is leading.

From June through August, I will be serving in Uganda, Canada, and Ecuador, partnering with local ministries and communities to share the love of Christ through relationship, service, and discipleship. Each location is different, but the heart behind the work remains the same: to glorify God, love people well, and faithfully walk where He calls.

I’m creating this page not just to raise funds, but to invite others into this journey with me. Whether through prayer, encouragement, or financial support, your partnership allows me to step forward with confidence—knowing I am not walking alone.

What This Summer Will Look Like

Uganda

In June, I’ll be returning to Uganda for the fourth time to serve with a Vacation Bible School team. I’ll be leading and serving specifically in the nursery and early childhood classrooms, spending my days serving, playing, and sharing the love of Jesus with some of the youngest students. Each year, I’m reminded how powerfully God works through simple faithfulness—and how much He continues to teach me through the people and children I serve.

Canada

In July, I’ll be traveling to Canada to help host Vacation Bible School at Prairie Light Christian Fellowship, partnering closely with their local church community. This trip is deeply relational and service-based, and I’ll be serving alongside their in-country team rather than with a large group. It’s a meaningful opportunity to walk into a community, listen well, and serve where God is already at work.

Ecuador

Then in August, I’ll travel to Ecuador for the first time to attend a ministry leadership conference, connecting with ministry leaders and missionaries. This time will be focused on learning, discernment, and growth—allowing me to be sharpened and to gain perspective as I continue walking in obedience to what God is calling me into.

Hola, soy Samantha Joy. Vivo en Arizona y soy parte de Living Streams Church. Durante los últimos años, el Señor ha estado cultivando en mí un profundo amor por servir a personas de diferentes culturas y comunidades. A través de oportunidades para servir tanto localmente como internacionalmente, Dios continúa enseñándome sobre la comunidad, la gratitud, la obediencia y la belleza de empoderar a las mismas personas a quienes venimos a servir.

Este verano estoy entrando en una temporada de obediencia—una marcada por confianza, disponibilidad y un “sí” completo al lugar donde el Señor me está guiando.

Estoy creando esta página no solo para recaudar fondos, sino también para invitar a otros a ser parte de este camino conmigo. Ya sea a través de oración, ánimo o apoyo financiero, tu apoyo me permite avanzar con confianza, sabiendo que no camino sola.

Cómo Será Este Verano

Uganda

En junio regresaré a Uganda por cuarta vez para servir con un equipo de Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones. Estaré liderando y sirviendo específicamente en el área de guardería y primera infancia, pasando mis días sirviendo, jugando y compartiendo el amor de Jesús con algunos de los estudiantes más pequeños. Cada año recuerdo cuán poderosamente Dios obra a través de la fidelidad sencilla—y cuánto continúa enseñándome a través de las personas y los niños a quienes sirvo.

Canadá

En julio viajaré a Canadá para ayudar a organizar una Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones en Prairie Light Christian Fellowship, colaborando de cerca con su comunidad local de la iglesia. Este viaje está enfocado principalmente en las relaciones y el servicio. Estaré sirviendo junto con su equipo local, en lugar de viajar con un grupo grande. Será una oportunidad muy significativa para integrarme en la comunidad, escuchar con atención y servir donde Dios ya está obrando.

Ecuador

En agosto viajaré a Ecuador por primera vez para asistir a una conferencia de liderazgo ministerial, donde podré conectar con líderes y misioneros. Este tiempo estará enfocado en aprender, discernir y crecer—permitiéndome ser fortalecida y obtener perspectiva mientras continúo caminando en obediencia a lo que Dios me está llamando a hacer.

Este camino no es algo que deba recorrer sola. Aunque seré yo quien viaje y sirva en cada lugar, esta temporada también está profundamente formada por las personas que deciden caminar conmigo detrás de escena.
