Restore Bartlett’s Free Community Air Pump

Campaign Description:

For years, 140 South Hickory provided a simple, essential service to the neighborhood: a free, outdoor air pump. Today, our community no longer has access to this resource.

We recently saw just how much this missing amenity impacts our neighborhood. A stranded cyclist came looking for the old pump to fix a flat tire and was left completely out of options. In an amazing display of Bartlett's community spirit, our local first responders stepped up to assist the cyclist, and Mike at a neighboring bike shop in Streamwood even took the bike in to finally get the tire filled!

Witnessing our community helpers go out of their way over a simple lack of air reignited a mission for us. As we renovate this space to open our Wellness Center Art and Movement Lab, we want to bring this lost resource back to the neighborhood.

The Goal:

We are raising funds to purchase and install a heavy-duty, commercial-grade outdoor bicycle pump. This won't just be a temporary fix; we are investing in a durable piece of equipment designed to withstand the elements and heavy public use, ensuring no one is ever left stranded on a flat tire again.
