Rich has Multiple Sclerosis since 2000.  It has been a long hard road for him. I am his caretaker ,which is an honor for me. Rich is my world. He is confined to a hospital bed and has been for almost 10 years now. We purchased his hospital bed and we had a fundraiser for his mattress because it needs to be an air mattress. Unfortunately that mattress has wore out. There is a divot in the mattress now and it is causing Rich a lot of pain.  We have tried to get a new mattress through Medicare ,but they will only pay for a foam mattress. That is no good. He needs an air mattress. He struggles everyday with pain,being uncomfortable and not being able to move around. If he has to be stuck in this bed, he deserves to be comfortable.
