It Looks Like The Left Is Winning
Twelve years ago (2006) we came here to bring the Gospel in various ways to the poorest of the poor in Payatas. Payatas is one of the poorest places in the Philippines. Since then I watched Babe Ruth's smelly shirt sell for $450 million. I saw crazy Picasso's painting go for millions and as of today, people who are promoting Jesus Christ and not making a salary have raised $100.Can you believe it? Peter Strzok has an affair, goes against Donald Trump even though he is sworn to protect him and raises a half million dollars in no time and what is the money for? So he can get paid after being fired.
Yes, the left is winning.Children are being taught the most disgusting things and all we say is "Isn't that terrible" and "Why doesn't someone do something?"
In the meantime you have missionaries like us that put their lives up to do just that, to do something, and we raise $100.
Amazing? You bet. Because as all the debauchery of the left continues, the softening of the right increases. We allowed homosexuality. We allowed transgender. We allowed the kids to be taught how to use sex toys in class. We allowed that and we ignored the cries for help.
The Bible says:Pro 21:13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
We have lost some left sided supporters because of our politics but worse, we have little support from those on our side.
It's up to you. If you want to help know that God will be pleased and if you don't help, we will continue to work everyday to bring the Gospel of salvation every way we can to these poor children.
We have a twenty year plan and we are half way there. Our methodology is to first, preach the Gospel to all who will receive it. We preach to everyone and our Church embraces everyone but our focus is on the children as the children still are capable of believing that they can do all things through Christ.
So we teach them the scripture, we feed them and clothe them. We enroll them in school. Some have never gone and we have to acquire their birth certificates before they are allowed to attend. It is a rough process. We buy them uniforms and school supplies. We include them in our feeding program 7 days per week.
We teach them academics in advance of what they will learn so when they get it in school it is reinforced and they do very well.
We also teach them music because statistics show that those involved in music have a 50% better chance to graduate college.
Our goal is to raise them in Christ from the beginning all the way through college and into productive careers where they will stay with the chiurch and begin to support it and to do the same to other children as they have had done to them. We have two that just graduated.
So the plan is to reproduce, over and over and watch Christianity grow in a beautiful environment and eventually become self-sustaining.
We could really use your help.
We want to build a compound that will house a school from K-high School, a medical clinic, a 2000 seat sanctuary and a out door arena to hold evangelistic services and performances of our musicians. With this compound we could reach thousands more than we already reach.
Let me add a couple of things. One- Know who you are giving to. We have been here ten years and we have plenty of references, just ask. Two- We are a 501 (c) 3 Corporation in the U.S. Donations are deductible. Here is the big one, every thing you give small or large if given from your heart is blessed by God. We have an extremely large goal because we believe God can share this with someone who has the means to supply it or give us an incredible amount of people giving $10-$20. This is what we need, to build an incredible project in the middle of one of the poorest places in the Philippines. No palm trees blowing in the wind, no beaches, just a garbage dump.
