On June 14, 2026, my life changed in an instant.

What began as an attempt to peacefully resolve an ongoing dispute with neighbors ended in a physical altercation that left me with significant injuries. I suffered a broken and dislocated finger that requires surgery, a fractured wrist, head injuries, cuts, bruises, and abrasions. My wife was also injured during the incident, including a significant bump to her forehead that we have documented with photographs.

I have now been charged with Assault IV. I respect the legal process, but I dispute the allegation against me and have pleaded not guilty. I am committed to addressing this case through the courts, and I believe all of the evidence including witness statements, photographs, medical records, and video should be carefully reviewed before any conclusions are reached.

This situation has also affected our ability to work. My wife and I have spent years building our small business together, and my injuries have made it difficult to continue working at the level we normally do. Between medical appointments, upcoming surgery, rehabilitation, and lost income, the financial strain has been overwhelming.

Although I have been appointed a court-funded attorney, I want to preserve the option of retaining private counsel if it becomes necessary as the case progresses. Legal representation, medical treatment, and time away from work all carry significant costs.
