Project Title: Project Boas Sementes (Good Seeds): Empowering 200 Vulnerable Children and Families in Mozambique

Target Population: 200 Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and 200 underprivileged families

Core Needs: Legal Registration, Community Center Construction, and Expansion of Educational & Vocational Programs

1. Executive Summary

Born from a grassroots Christian community in the rural district of Morrumbala, Project Boas Sementes is a faith-driven mission dedicated to providing holistic care, nutrition, and spiritual guidance to 200 orphans and vulnerable children and their families. Under the leadership of Pastor Cláudio Roque António, we actively serve our community on the ground and have successfully secured a dedicated plot of land for this mission. However, we currently lack the legal registration and physical infrastructure required to scale our impact and ensure long-term sustainability. We are seeking international partners, ministries, and donors to help us build a solid foundation and expand our programs.

2. Current Activities (What We Do on the Ground)

Despite our lack of infrastructure, we are already actively running the following programs for our 200 children and families:

1. Weekday Nutrition Program: Every Tuesday and Thursday, we provide children with highly nutritious porridge made from locally sourced ingredients to combat malnutrition.
2. Saturday Care & Feeding Program: Every Saturday, we gather the children for Bible teaching, spiritual mentorship, and recreational activities. Additionally, we provide a full lunch to all the children to ensure they receive proper weekend nutrition.
3. Family Empowerment & Training: We support households by distributing basic food baskets, providing biblical training, teaching mothers how to care for infants (Anos 0-5) from a nutritional standpoint, and equipping families to create their own home vegetable gardens.

3. Future Goals & Expansion Areas

With the support of new partners and the construction of our center, we urgently intend to deepen our impact in three key areas:

1. Educational Support: Provide essential school supplies (notebooks, pens, school bags, and uniforms) to keep vulnerable children in school.
2. Vocational Training (Sewing School): Equip a classroom with sewing machines to teach adolescent youth a sustainable trade, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty.
3. Scholarship Fund: Establish a scholarship program to fund higher education or technical degrees for youth who successfully graduate from high school.

1. Phase 1: Legal Registration ($1,000 USD - Estimated)
2. Objective: Register our organization as an official, independent non-profit Association (NGO) under Mozambican law to open a bank account and operate legally.
3. Phase 2: Center Construction & Equipment
4. Objective: Build a multi-purpose community hall, kitchen, and training classrooms on our secured plot of land. Funding will also cover kitchen tools, sewing machines, and desks.
