Help veterans stop surviving and start thriving. Veterans need a mission. Help launch Operation Caribbean Reach so veterans can find renewed purpose while delivering life‑saving aid to children and remote communities in Guatemala and Panama.
About Us
Every year, more than 6,000 American veterans die by suicide, and veterans die by suicide at much higher rates than their civilian peers. Veterans are the mission, and veterans need a mission. Convergence gives veterans a renewed sense of purpose as they join a team and serve others through humanitarian aid, medical clinics, and environmental missions.
This campaign, Operation Caribbean Reach, equips our 56' expedition vessel, Ceaseless Explorer, to deliver critical aid to children in Guatemala and remote communities in Panama while giving U.S. veterans a life‑giving mission at sea.
The Need
When veterans come together around a clear mission, side‑by‑side with a crew that depends on them, they rediscover purpose, camaraderie, and hope.
Who We Are
Our contact info: https://linko.page/convergence?s=url
Convergence is a faith‑based, veterans' support organization that facilitates veteran healing and renewed purpose through service. As veteran participants engage in environmental stewardship, humanitarian aid, and disaster‑response missions, they regain the unique, purposeful team environment many have missed since leaving the service.Since 2020, Convergence has operated with an all‑volunteer leadership and support staff, primarily made up of U.S. veterans. 100% of the financial support we receive goes directly into our service missions and other programs.
Convergence co‑founder and Director of Operations, Mark Ford, is a Coast Guard veteran, retired federal agent, and trained peer counselor through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Mark personally leads Convergence service missions, giving participants the chance to serve alongside a trained peer counselor who helps them identify, understand, and better respond to PTSD triggers in their everyday lives. Our Partners

What We've Already Done
Operation Southern Blaze: In partnership with American Legion Post 12 of Banderas Bay, Mexico, and fire departments, American Legion posts, and VFW posts across five U.S. states, Convergence coordinated the delivery of a donated fire truck and life‑saving fire equipment to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Featured on Fox News and BanderasNews.Bocas del Toro Mobile Clinics: Convergence has carried out free mobile medical clinics serving rural indigenous communities in Panama with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Ships. Our most recent clinic (Q3 2025) used small lancha boats to reach two island communities in the Bocas del Toro archipelago, where we provided antiparasite medication, eyeglasses, and treatment to 84 patients over two days.
