Hello, my name is Norma Burdette. I am reaching out for some help getting my vehicle back on the road. My transmission has finally gone out of my ride due to repeated sabotage. People from my past made sure I couldn't go anywhere. I've done everything I can to hold it together but at this point, I need a transmission replacement to get moving again so I can handle my responsibilities and keep pressing forward. This is not just about me. I have an eleven-year-old girl who lives with me. Who sees me as a safe place. We are walking a quarter of a mile to catch her bus and we live in the country. I want to make sure she is safe in every way she can be. I need reliable transportation to get her to the bus stop safely for appointments while providing a safe environment for her. If you know me then you know it's hard for me to ask for help. I worked hard to stay strong to heal and protect her even when I had been going through it myself. I have recently walked out of an abusive relationship and when I think he is finally done he does this to my vehicle.
