Help us build a new Job Board.

Over 1,000 Canadians have found employment through Jabless Jobs, so far.


The last 3 years have changed us forever:
  • Freedom loving job seekers want an employer they can trust.
  • Employers that don’t discriminate need a trusted brand to help them grow their teams.
  • Consumers want to support business that share their values, and 
  • Business owners want a direct avenue to promote their products & services to the freedom community. 


    The current Jabless Jobs website isn't cutting it, yet, over 1,000 Canadians have found employment on the JJ site. Imagine how many more people we could help when we have a better working website. 

     We did well considering: the current JJ website was built in a hurry, and on a shoestring budget. Though we've since given it a face-lift, it still has many limitations, and so, it's time for a new website. The new site will be called "Goose and Maple" and is designed to be like a combination of Indeed & Yelp, and it'll solves many of the current website's problems.

Problems like: 

  • a bad search filter (it's buggy and doesn't have many options)
  • no accounts for job seekers,
  • no resume database for employers to look through, and
  • it's a really slow Word Press site

    

     The back-end development is well under-way, and the front end development started on July 9th/2023. Any support you can offer will be going towards website fees. So that we can offer a site that is as well polished and convenient as possible.

Dear supporters,
     We want to express our sincere gratitude for your ongoing support as we work on the development of the new JJ job board on Goose and Maple. Your contribution has been instrumental in reaching several important milestones, and we are excited to provide you with an update on our progress.

Completed features: 
     Please note: these completed features are currently on the staging website, and are not live on GooseandMaple.com yet. 

  1. Job Alert Emails: We've implemented the Job Alert Email feature, ensuring that job seekers can stay up-to-date with the latest job opportunities tailored to their preferences.
  2. Job Board: The heart of our website, the Job Board, is now functional on the Goose and Maple staging site. Job seekers will be able to explore a wide range of employment opportunities as well as save and share the jobs at ease, while employers can post their job listings in a more convenient and easy to use format.
  3. Resume and Cover Letter Upload: Job seekers can now conveniently upload their resumes and cover letters directly to their accounts, streamlining the job application process and making it easier for employers to review applicant profiles.
  4. Post Job Descriptions: Employers can now post comprehensive job descriptions to attract honest and hard-working Canadian talent to their organization and provide job seekers with the information they need to make informed decisions.
  5. Upcoming enhancements:
         We have some tasks in the pipeline that will further improve the website's functionality:

    1. Improved Job Search Filter: We're working diligently to enhance the job search filter, making it even easier for job seekers to find the perfect opportunities that align with their skills, interests and location.
    2. Job Application Status: Soon, job seekers will be able to track the status of their job applications, ensuring transparency and peace of mind throughout the hiring process.
    3. Front-End Design: Mehul and Melissa are hard at work revamping the website's front-end to provide a more intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing 'Canadiana ' experience for all users. Our goal with the designs is to have a website where people can connect while experiencing the familiar culture of our great country. We want people to be smiling while using the site.
