🌟 It all started last month when I felt a sudden, sharp pain in my foot—it was like nothing I'd ever experienced before. My first thought? "What if this is something serious?" Fast forward to now, and the fear has only grown stronger as these strange sensations spread from one limb to another. 😔

The cause of all this confusion: a severe B12 deficiency that led to secondary hemolysis and pancytopenia. I've been battling symptoms like weakness, fatigue, severe pain, memory loss, shortness of breath—it feels almost like living in slow motion most days. 😥

I remember the day we realized just how bad it had gotten; when my doctor suggested seeing a neurologist for possible nerve damage from this condition. The thought alone was daunting: more tests, maybe even a scary diagnosis hanging over me. Luckily i could get an appointment for this Monday due to a cancellation! (God's hand?) as i was originally told the earliest date would be in December!

The cost of seeing the Neurologist? Roughly 3500 - 6000 ZAR per consultation (tests included).
