My name is Natasha, and I’m raising funds for a specialized endometriosis excision surgery with Dr. Lora Liu in New York—one of the few specialized surgeons in the country capable of performing the level of organ‑preserving work I need. Severe D.I.E endometriosis has compromised my kidney function and my daily life. This surgery is not optional for me. It is the only path toward preserving my kidney function, restoring my ability to live day to day, and preventing further organ damage caused by endometriosis and severe adhesions.

What My Life Looks Like Right Now

Endometriosis has compromised multiple organ systems. Adhesions have wrapped around and restricted my organs to the point that I have diminished kidney function. The pain and inflammation have led to constant nausea, gastroparesis, extreme gastric pain, neuropathy, and crushing fatigue. My quality of life has been reduced to survival mode. I'm barely functioning, and I can't be there for my kids.

These symptoms are not manageable without surgical intervention. They are the result of deep, invasive endometriosis and adhesions that are physically restricting my organs and impairing their function.

This amount is far beyond what anyone can manage alone. Asking for help is incredibly difficult, but this surgery is my chance at renewed life. Our goal is to reach 22K with this campaign so we can have the surgery, but any amount helps make a difference.

Why This Surgery Matters

This surgery will preserve my organs, prevent further decline, and give me the chance to live a fuller, longer life without diseased tissue. Without it, my kidney function and overall health will continue to deteriorate.

Dr. Lora Liu is one of the few surgeons with the expertise to safely remove the adhesions and excise the disease at the depth and complexity required. It is expected to take an average of 3 to 6 hours. This is not a standard procedure, and not one that insurance recognizes as payable for the amount of time the doctors need to spend on the procedure. This is why we need your help.
