My angel

I have a daughter who deserves the world and although I may not be able to give it to her, I feel like the world is better because of her, so perhaps noticing that, the world might do her a favor.

So my daughter knows I feel like there is nothing she does not deserve and there is nothing worse than saying, "I can't, baby, we don't have any money." I work my tail off and our bills are paid. All of our necessities are covered, but like I said, this girl deserves it because what she asks for is usually in some way used to make someone else's day better.

One day she asked me for a stuffed animal thing that is a big deal with the kids at her school. I felt it was a waste of money, not knowing the social importance of said stuffed animal thing. Well, after she had gotten yet another award at school, I had to get it for her. I literally gave it to her and watched her walk over and give it to her friend who didn't have one. Irritated, I asked, "Why?" and she said, "She doesn't have one." I said, "Well, neither do you now." And right then I stopped sounding irritated, although now I was only irritated at the fact that I had been irritated after the selfless, kind, amazing thing I witnessed.

Months later (last week), my daughter asked about a horse. Laughing, I told her it was a lot of work, time, and money. So thinking this statement would end it, I said, "So if you can earn half, and I mean put in some work to show me you are willing to work hard because horses are work." A while later, she brings out her coin purse and said she wants to have a lemonade stand. The change purse had the remnants of her tooth fairy money. $2.57 was it. I laughed and said, "No, it is raining and 6:30 PM." So the next morning she asked again, it was around 10 something, so I looked outside and it looked nice. I finished my coffee and we went to the Dollar Tree for what we could get there, then Walmart. When I looked outside and said it looked nice, I think I missed the trees swaying back and forth. Anyways, about $50.00 later, we got everything she "needed" for this stand. So we start getting everything ready and I ask her to make the sign. She gets excited and asks, "How much should it be?" I said, "I feel like $2 is fair." She said, "Okay," and started to go back to the poster board, then said, "If they're homeless, I want them to have some too." I am so glad this is how my girl is. I am so proud of her without the words that come out of her mouth, but man, when she talks, I just wish everyone was hearing it. We decided not to have a price and just put a donation jar. Well, there are lots of homeless here and it was windy and I was not very into the stand idea, so I tried to get her to call it. Nope. Then I see a gal who was pushing a cart look toward the stand and when we looked, she turned her head away and went to walk past us, probably assuming we were selling it. So I said, "Want some lemonade?" I know she heard me, but she walked by like she did not, and then I said, "It's free." Her face lit up and she said, "Yes, please!" My daughter's face lit up as she gave the girl the cup of lemonade. After 4 hours and making just over $10, that was what she had been waiting for. She was ready to go.

The next day it was really sunny, really nice, and not windy. I tell her, "Let's go sell lemonade." We already had everything we needed at this point. So we go to a different spot and she made $22 this time, but gave away plenty. (Also, the picture is of her at the lemonade stand the second day holding one of the stuffed animal things.)

The way my daughter is and the things she would do for other people is why I wanna make this happen. So if you are able to help, it would really make her dream come true, and if not, she will probably let you ride it anyways. LOL

Also I work and sleep, and that's pretty much all I do besidrs hang out with my girl so i don't have a lot of networking for sharing this.If anybody out there can help, that would be amazing...
