A Mother’s Plea: Stand with Us for Justice

At seven months pregnant, I overcame my fears after three years of domestic abuse and found the courage to leave. I was determined to protect myself and my unborn baby. Yet today, 3 years later, I have not seen my little girl in over 350 days.

Since then, I have endured relentless retaliation in court. Without the resources to hire an attorney, I was forced to represent myself, left vulnerable to legal intimidation and without the critical guidance I needed to protect myself and my daughter. These challenges have led to devastating setbacks.

That is why I am turning to you for support. My daughter and I deserve safety, justice, and the chance to heal. I now have referrals to 2 skilled attorneys ready to fight for us in family and criminal court, but I urgently need help to hire them. If 250 people give $100–$200 each, I can cover my legal and court fees and finally move forward in this fight.
