Our beloved friend and longtime member of our school, track, cross country, and church community has recently been diagnosed with an extensive cancer that has spread throughout her body.

Out of respect for her privacy, we are not sharing specific medical details. What we can share is that the disease has significantly impacted her strength and daily functioning. She has begun treatment and is facing the physical toll that comes with it. At this time, she is requiring assistance with many day-to-day needs, including transportation to appointments and basic tasks she once managed independently.

For years, she has been a steady, faithful presence — in our schools, on the track and cross country teams, and within our church family. She has consistently shown up for others with encouragement, commitment, and quiet strength.

Now, she needs us.

With limited local family support and loved ones living out of the area, she is navigating this season largely on her own. The financial strain of ongoing treatment, transportation, and living expenses is significant and growing.

All funds raised will go directly to her to help cover medical-related expenses and daily living needs.

We are asking — gently but urgently — for our community to rally around her as she has so faithfully rallied around so many of us. Any donation, no matter the size, will directly help ease the burden and allow her to focus on her treatment and healing.
