You know, life's funny sometimes—it throws curveballs when you least expect them. Just last week, I got a message from my spiritual son who is set to be officially ordained soon. It’s a moment filled with joy and nerves because this journey he’s stepping into isn’t just about him; it’s about the community he'll serve and inspire. But let me back up a bit...

It all started 12 years ago when I first met Peter, deep in discussions over Facebook. His passion for God and his people was contagious! Fast forward to months ago, after much prayer and discernment, he felt the calling—the divine call that comes with responsibility. And there it hit me: This isn’t just about a spiritual son; this is about nurturing someone who's going to lead souls towards faith.

Now here’s where you come in... I’m looking at 2 plane tickets and around 2,500 USD each. It sounds like a lot, but honestly, when it comes to supporting the work of God and one who has been called by Him, every dollar counts! And let me tell ya, this isn't just about flying halfway across the world; it’s about being there for that special moment in his life—his ordination ceremony.

It isn't about flying halfway around the world just be involved in just anyone's Ordination but God called me to be his Spiritual mom.

It’s crucial to have those familiar faces when taking on a new role, which is why I strongly feel the need to be by his side during this pivotal time. Plus, there's that other plane ticket - for the person who will be traveling with me because it is unsafe to travel to Kenya if you're a female alone.

Hence that's 2 plane tickets to travel in December to travel to the ordination.
