A friend of ours posted on FB this past Monday, that he saw this poor little baby on the shoulder of the LOOP in Lubbock!!!!! He had to circle back two times to get to it!!! And he rescued this sweet little angel!

Dustin & I decided to adopt it and give it THE BEST LIFE!!

As of this morning, we have taken it to the Vet. and determined it is a boy. And have named him Patrick!

Patrick is a FIGHTER. 😊🥹❤️🐱

According to x-rays, he has multiple fractures in his left, back- leg and pelvis.

He is estimated to be about 11-12 weeks old.

He has a broken tail that has already healed, leaving a lot of scar-tissue.

They want to amputate his leg after he gains some weight and gets a little bigger.

He currently weighs 2.5 pounds.

He most-likely has ringworm. A skin culture has been sent off.

An ultrasound showed that abdominal trauma has caused his bladder to shift outside of his abdominal wall and has also created a hernia.

He needs immediate surgery to move his bladder back in place and remove the hernia it has caused.

After that first procedure is done, they will then schedule the second emergency surgery to amputate his left, back leg. It is fractured in several places from his foot all the way up to his pelvis.

We will find out on Tuesday how much the first emergency surgery will cost to go in and shift his bladder back into place and remove the hernia it has caused.

We will update everyone once we get a quote on everything.
