Minnesota Election Records Collection

The August 11, 2026 Minnesota primary is over, but the work of ensuring confidence in our elections is not.

We are working to collect election-related public records and data from counties across Minnesota so the information can be reviewed, compared, and preserved. This is a significant undertaking, and obtaining records from county after county can come with substantial costs.

Funds raised will help cover expenses associated with obtaining and organizing election records and data, including county and local government data-request fees, copies, electronic records, and other reproduction costs, certified records when necessary, and costs associated with collecting and organizing county-level election information.
