McDonnell Family Fundraiser
It is with deep sadness to say we lost a great man this Easter weekend. Tiernan Eoin McDonnell, born on February 15, 1988, at the age of 34. Son to Matt and Laurel. Brother to Patrick, Darragh, and Mick. He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate Michaela and their newborn son William. Tiernan was a devoted husband and a newly excited, absolutely fantastic, and loving father. There was nothing he loved more in life than his family. He was a dedicated worker and avid patriot with much love for his fellow countrymen and women. He was also very involved in his Catholic faith and had a close relationship with God. His smile and laugh were contagious and no matter how bad of a day you were having he knew how to get you laughing and keep you in a positive mindset. He never complained, he never felt sorry for himself, and he was the best person he could be every day of his life. Besides being a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, he enjoyed nothing more than to relax at home on a rainy day with a great video game or book in hand. He was also an avid collector from a young age of comic books, video games, art, movies, and anything Star Wars related. He loved all things culinary and was a connoisseur of a well-made meal and a fine drink to go right along with it. He was never a man that asked for anything or expected a handout. He believed everything worth having should be earned. Admired by his lifelong friends and colleagues, it is unanimous that our Tiernan was taken far too soon from his family.
We are posting this fundraiser for those that can empathize with this tragic situation. Any help you can offer to ease the financial burden of funeral costs is greatly appreciated. In addition, any leftover funds will be given to his wife and son to help them through these difficult times. It is going to a family that absolutely deserves nothing but the best.
