Help Me Share the Story of the Georgia Martyrs

Hi! My name is AnnaRose, and I love creating sacred art that shares my Catholic faith.

This October, history will be made in Georgia. The Diocese of Savannah has announced that the Venerable Servants of God Pedro de Corpa and his Four Companions—the Georgia Martyrs—will be beatified on October 31, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. This will be the first beatification ever celebrated in Georgia and the first in the American South.

I am incredibly honored that my artwork of the Five Georgia Martyrs has been accepted for the Beatification Exhibition.

Even more exciting, my artwork is one of the pieces being considered in the competition to become the official artwork representing the Beatification of the Five Georgia Martyrs. The winning artwork will not be announced until the Beatification celebration, so I won't know the results until I am there. It is a tremendous honor just to be included among the artists being considered.

I have spent many hours praying, learning about these courageous missionaries, and creating each piece to honor their witness to Christ. They were martyred in hatred of faith for standing up for the sanctity of marriage.

To be part of this incredible moment, I must make two trips to Savannah.

September 14, 2026

To personally deliver my artwork for the Beatification Exhibition and for official entry into final completion for Beatification Mass.

October 31, 2026

To attend the historic Beatification Mass, see my artwork displayed, find out whether my artwork has been selected to represent this historic Beatification, witness this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and bring my artwork home after the exhibition.

I'm raising funds to help cover the costs of:

  1. Transportation and rental vehicle
  2. Fuel
  3. Lodging
  4. Meals during our travels
  5. Expenses related to delivering and retrieving my artwork

Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to participating in this historic celebration of our Catholic faith. Your generosity will allow me to witness a once-in-a-lifetime moment in Church history, share the artistic gifts God has given me, and be present when the artwork chosen to represent this historic Beatification is announced.

Thank you for supporting my journey and encouraging me to use my talents for God's glory. Whether or not my artwork is selected, I am grateful to have the opportunity to honor the Georgia Martyrs and be part of this historic event. Your prayers and generosity mean more to me than words can express.
