By the grace of God and the faithful work of many, Mark Twelve Recovery Foundation has been officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity. What began as a calling to bring Christian recovery coaching to those who need it most is now a fully formed ministry with a seated board of directors, a credentialed founder, and a clear mission.

Now we need your help to put it to work.

Why Mark Twelve exists

Every year, more than 107,000 Americans die from drug overdoses. More than 48 million of our neighbors live with a substance use disorder. And over 90% of them will never receive the help they need. Behind every one of those numbers is a human being, a son, a daughter, a parent, a friend, and very often a brother or sister in Christ.

Faith-based recovery works. The data is clear, and so is the testimony of countless lives that have been changed when professional skill meets the transforming power of Jesus. But credentialed, Christ-centered coaching remains scarce in most communities, and where it exists, it is too often out of reach for the people who need it most.

That is the gap Mark Twelve Recovery Foundation was built to close.

What your gift funds

We are not here to compete with 12-step fellowships or licensed treatment. We are here to fill the space between them, combining the professional structure of certified recovery coaching with the spiritual anchor of the Christian faith, priced at low-cost or no-cost so ability to pay is never the reason someone stays sick.

Your gift directly supports three areas of work:

Christian recovery coaching for individuals, families, professionals, and veterans who need someone trained to walk with them and who want their faith taken seriously as part of the journey.

Scholarships for aspiring recovery coaches: laypeople, alumni, and ministry workers called to this work. We pay for their Christian recovery coach certification so they can serve their own communities with both credentials and conviction.

Funding for Christian recovery programs and meetings: small ministries and groups that need materials, meeting space, or speaker support to keep their doors open.

The ask

This is our inaugural campaign, and every gift counts more than most. First gifts establish the foundation everything else is built on, and we are asking the people God has put in our path to help us begin.

Recurring gifts of $12, $25, $50, or $100 per month will be the bedrock of this ministry. We call this monthly community the Mark 12 Circle, named for the verse that anchors everything we do:

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
