I am excited to share that I will be going on a mission trip to Esperanza Viva Youth Home in Puebla, Mexico, for a week, July 10-17, 2026, with my church’s youth group at Salem Covenant Church in New Brighton, Minnesota. During this time, I will be spending time with the children, learning about their background, and gaining insight into their unique culture and heritage. Our group will engage in various activities and service projects that will deepen our understanding of how to serve the Lord, while also addressing the language barrier as our team speaks English and the kids speak Spanish. It will be amazing to see how we can still connect and share God’s love even without the same language! It will also be an incredible experience to witness how God works through us during this mission, especially as we acknowledge the differences between our lives and those of the children at Esperanza Viva!
