Hi, my name is Lana, I am 17.

This summer I’m going to lots of camps my top 2 are volunteering at “Hope Heals” camp and “Young Life” camp.  Then I am going to 2 camps as a camper. I love summer camps!

 I am fundraising for my Youth Leadership group to go to - Hope Heals camp - for a week. It is a camp that invites families with differently abled people, to give them a full week of fun and camp as a family. We will be a part of the larger team hosting everyone, parents and kids, and making sure “everyone has a seat at the table” (that’s the quote of Hope Heals camp) and letting everyone have plenty of fun together, and praising God.

And Young Life camp is three weeks working as a “work crew” member. This is a program inviting high schoolers to serve other high schoolers and be an example of faith. A lot of the campers are exploring faith but all work crew students are christian and showing others how Christianity isn’t scary. 

I need to pay for travel expenses and my portion of the camp. Thank you to everyone who can give any amount. I really appreciate it and I’m excited to go to camp.
