On December 18th, 2024, our family received news that changed our lives forever. Our vibrant, funny, animated, sweet, and deeply caring 9-year-old daughter, Kinlee, lovingly known as “Stink”, was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) — a rare and aggressive brainstem tumor that no family is ever prepared to face.

From the very beginning, we have held tightly to God’s promise in Isaiah 41:10 — believing that even in the darkest moments, He is with us, He is strengthening us, and He is holding our precious daughter in His righteous right hand.

When Kinlee was diagnosed with DIPG, we created this GiveSendGo because we suddenly found ourselves fighting for our little girl's life. Every donation, every prayer, every share, and every act of kindness reminded us that we were never walking that road alone.

Although Kinlee's earthly fight ended on March 10, 2026, her story didn't.

As her mom, I made a promise that her life would continue to matter. That her name would continue to bring hope. That no family would ever have to feel as alone as we did.

Today, that promise has become The Stinky Karter Foundation. We're transitioning this GiveSendGo from supporting Kinlee's medical journey to supporting the mission she inspired. Every gift will now help us continue her legacy by serving families facing pediatric brain cancer, raising awareness about DIPG, advocating for better research and treatment options, and bringing hope to children and families walking the unimaginable.

This foundation exists because of one incredible little girl who taught us what courage, faith, joy, and unconditional love truly look like.

People often ask me how I keep going.

The answer is simple.

I can't change how Kinlee's story ended, but I can spend the rest of my life making sure her story continues to change the lives of others.
