Kelly Smallwood has spent his life serving others through his faith, his family, his horsemanship, and his heart for the community. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Kelly is now facing a difficult road ahead and could use the support, prayers, and financial help of the people around him.

Kelly is known by many as a hardworking man of God who has dedicated himself to spreading the love and word of the Lord. He is also a dedicated and loving grandpa, and his family is a huge part of who he is. Anyone who knows Kelly knows the love he has for his family, his faith, and the people God has placed in his life.

He has made a lasting impact in the rodeo and horse community, especially by pouring into the younger generation. Through rodeo practices, horse training, and everyday encouragement, Kelly has helped young riders grow not only in their skills, but also in their faith and character.

Kelly has trained horses for most of his life and is respected for making well-rounded, quiet, dependable horses while always giving glory to God. He has also spent many years doing farrier work, helping countless people and horses along the way. Anyone who knows Kelly knows he is not the kind of man to ask for help easily, but he is absolutely the kind of man who deserves to be surrounded by support when he needs it most.

To help Kelly during this time, benefit events will be held including a roping, barrel race, silent auction, and GoFundMe. All proceeds will go toward helping with medical expenses and financial needs as Kelly continues this fight.
