On November 13, 2024, I lost my son, Thomas Free. The pain of losing a child is something no parent should ever have to endure, and that loss changed my life forever.

Instead of allowing grief to silence me, I turned my pain into purpose by founding Patient Lives Matter – Healthcare Advocacy and The Healing Hills Foundation. Today, we educate patients, support families during medical crises, advocate for safer healthcare, and work to prevent other families from experiencing the heartbreak that ours has endured.
