Help Jade & Jaden Walker Fight for Justice and Rebuild Their Lives
My name is Shalonda Olige, and I am a mother fighting for my twins, Jade Walker and Jaden Walker.
In March 2021, a tragic accident occurred in Frisco, Texas, forever changing the lives of everyone involved. As a mother, my heart continues to ache for all families affected by this tragedy. At the same time, I firmly believe that my children did not receive a fair opportunity to present all of the evidence available in their cases, and I am now working tirelessly to seek a full and independent review of their convictions.
Today, I am asking for your help.
Our Story
Jade and Jaden Walker were only 19 years old when they became involved in a tragic collision that resulted in criminal charges. Although they were tried separately, both faced the same allegations of manslaughter and racing on a highway.
Jaden was convicted and sentenced to approximately 33 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, followed by 10 years of probation for the racing charge. He has now served approximately 2 years and 5 months and was recently released on parole. He remains under strict supervision, including monthly reporting requirements, movement restrictions, electronic monitoring, and ongoing fees.
Jade was later convicted and sentenced to 6 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for manslaughter, along with 10 years of probation on the racing charge. She has already spent nearly two years incarcerated.
Despite these convictions, our family continues to pursue every legal avenue available because we believe significant evidence and witness testimony were not fully presented or explored during the trials.
Why We Believe the Cases Need Further Review
Over the past several years, I have gathered documents, photographs, videos, tow records, vehicle reports, court filings, and witness information relating to both cases.
Among the concerns we continue to investigate are:
- Witnesses who were present and allegedly observed the collision but did not testify before the jury.
- Evidence that was available but was not presented during trial.
- Questions regarding vehicle damage, accident reconstruction, and the sequence of events leading to the collision.
- Questions surrounding the handling and examination of the vehicles after the accident.
- Recorded statements and evidence that we believe deserve further review.
- Differences between various reports, records, and testimony that may warrant additional investigation.
Both Jade and Jaden now have active cases being reviewed by a known source, the cases have been connected for review because they arise from the same tragic incident.
While we are grateful for that assistance, we know that meaningful post-conviction work requires significant resources, patience, and continued investigation.
Who Jade & Jaden Are
Before these events, Jade and Jaden were known for their achievements, leadership, and service to others.
Jaden was a talented track athlete who earned multiple championships and dedicated countless hours to helping others in his community.
Jade was a respected student, a Prom Queen, dental assistant, and a young woman known for her kindness, determination, and leadership.
Together, they volunteered with the Single Parent Advocate organization, assisting families facing hardship and helping make a difference in the lives of others.
Neither had a prior criminal record.
Their lives, dreams, education, careers, and futures have been profoundly impacted by these convictions.

A Mother's Plea
For more than four years, I have devoted my life to understanding every detail of these cases.
I have attended hearings, reviewed records, gathered evidence, spoken with witnesses, and worked tirelessly to ensure that every available fact is examined.
I am not asking anyone to assume guilt or innocence. I am asking for something much simpler:
A complete, fair, and independent review of all the evidence.
As a mother, I will never stop fighting for my children. I believe every person deserves the opportunity to have all relevant evidence considered, and I will continue seeking answers until that happens.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for your support, your prayers, and your willingness to stand with our family.
With gratitude and hope,
Shalonda Olige
