Many of you knew my mom, Janet Marie Williams Spears, and if you did, you know she had one of the most beautiful and kind hearts of anyone you could ever meet. She loved deeply, prayed often, and always tried to lift others up when they were hurting. My mom truly lived her faith. She believed in the power of prayer and trusted in God through every season of her life. Even when life was difficult, she held onto that faith and never stopped encouraging others to do the same.

She was the kind of person who would help anyone with whatever she had, even if it wasn’t much. She was a giver in every sense of the word. Whether it was a prayer, a kind message, a late-night check-in text, or simply reminding someone that they were loved, she had a special way of making people feel seen and valued.

Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and spending time with them filled her heart with so much happiness. Family meant everything to her. She loved deeply, laughed often, and left behind so many memories that we will carry with us forever.

Our family takes comfort in knowing that her name is written in the Book of Life and that she is now in a place of peace with the Lord. While our hearts are broken here on earth, we hold onto the promise that we will see her again.

Right now, our family is hoping to raise funds for a beautiful headstone for her. She deserves something that honors the loving, faithful, and selfless woman she was. A place that reflects the light she brought into so many lives.
