About the Founder – Lasisi Oluwapelumi (King)
Lasisi Oluwapelumi, known to many as King, is a young community leader driven by compassion, faith, and a deep desire to lift the forgotten. Growing up in Nigeria, I've witnessed firsthand how poverty, insecurity, and economic hardship silently break families and steal the futures of children. Instead of turning away, I chose to act.
For a while, I've used my own limited resources to support struggling mothers, feed hungry children, and guide young boys away from the streets. What began as a personal mission, one child, one family at a time has now grown into the HopeLift Network, a grassroots initiative dedicated to restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity to the most vulnerable.
I'm currently not funded by any organization. I'm simply a man who refuses to ignore suffering, and who believes that love, kindness, and consistent action can change lives. My passion, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication are the heartbeat of this mission.

HopeLift Network – A Lifeline for Families in Crisis
Across many communities in Nigeria today, life has become a daily struggle for survival. The economic collapse of the country has pushed countless families into unimaginable hardship. Prices of basic food have risen beyond what ordinary people can afford, jobs have disappeared, children are being forced out of school, and mothers go to bed worried about how to feed their families the next morning.
Every day, more young boys and girls are being pushed into the streets, not out of choice, but out of desperation. Many become vulnerable to violence, exploitation, and crime simply because survival has become their only priority. Their childhoods are being stolen by hunger, fear, and uncertainty.
Mothers who once worked hard to provide for their children now break down in tears because the cost of a simple meal has doubled or tripled. Fathers carry the quiet weight of shame because no matter how hard they try, they just cannot make ends meet. Families are being torn apart under the pressure.
And beyond the economic devastation, many communities, including Christian communities continue to face waves of insecurity and targeted violence. Homes have been destroyed, lives have been lost, and entire neighborhoods live in fear, hoping each day will not be their last. The trauma is deep. The need is overwhelming.
Yet, in the middle of all this pain, there is still hope.
There is still love.
There is still a chance to lift someone up.
The HopeLift Network was created to be that lifeline.
We are a small, grassroots initiative dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable families in our local communities, one child, one mother, one struggling household at a time. With your help, we are providing:
