It is with the heaviest heart I have ever had to carry, that I write these words.

On June 10, 2026, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy—one that has left us completely broken and devastated. Our precious 3-year-old baby boy, Ivy Russell Palmer, went home to be with Jesus. 🕊️

As we mourn this tremendous loss and try to make sense of what feels impossible to understand, there is so much that needs to be done. At this time, the family has asked for privacy, so the details surrounding Ivy’s passing will not be discussed here.

The priority right now is to help Ivy’s mom and dad lay their precious little angel to rest.

This is a pain no parent should ever have to endure, especially such young parents. My heart is shattered for my precious niece, Corynne Jennifer Montanez, Russell Palmer, and their beautiful family.

I am humbly asking for your prayers and for anyone who feels led - to prayerfully consider supporting them during this time.

As you can imagine, this is not something any of us were prepared for, especially not them. The emotional, spiritual, and financial burdens are overwhelming, and we are leaning heavily on the love and support of family, friends, and our faith in Christ.

Scripture reminds us:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

While our hearts ache beyond words, we take comfort in knowing that God is near to us in our sorrow and that Ivy is now safely in the arms of Jesus Christ.
