On Monday, June 15, 2026, our community lost a remarkable man. Chris Rischar tragically passed away in the B-52 bomber accident in Southern California. Chris was a dedicated flight test engineer for JT4, who absolutely loved his job. He was a lifelong resident of Lancaster, California, and above all, a deeply devoted family man. For 17 beautiful years, Chris was married to the absolute love of his life, Rebecca. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their two children, Melody (15) and Elias (14). To know Chris was to know a man who put his family first in absolutely everything he did as well as be the first to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. We are rallying together to support the Rischar family during this unimaginable nightmare. Because Rebecca is a dedicated stay-at-home mother, Chris was the sole breadwinner for the household. In an instant, this family has not only lost their beloved husband and father, but they are also facing sudden, immense financial uncertainty. Our primary, immediate mission is to take away the heavy burden of housing and final arrangements so Rebecca can focus entirely on her children.
