We Love Because He First Loved Us

(1 John 4:19)

When God gave us our four children, we began to understand His love in a deeper way — patient, sacrificial, and freely given. Through them, He gently stretched our hearts and showed us that family is built not only by birth, but by love.

That same love first led us across the world to bring Moses home from Ukraine. And now, it is leading us again to Bulgaria, a little boy waits — already known, wanted, loved, and worthy of a family He has a rare condition, called, TCS. We already have access to the medical care and Craniofacial team to meet his needs.

Our children have been our greatest encouragement in this journey. Long before we spoke the words out loud, God was stirring something in their hearts. Through simple conversations, tender prayers, and their compassion for children without families, He began speaking to us about adding another child to our home.

We are stepping forward in faith to bring our son home. Adoption comes with many costs, and we cannot do this alone. We are truly excited about what God is doing, we walk by faith and not by site, eager to get our son home. If you feel led to partner with us — through prayer, sharing, and/or giving — you become part of his story too.

We love because He first loved us… and that love keeps making room for one more.

**Update** July 18, 2026

All of the documents (dossier) that we have been compiling since November 2025 are in Bulgaria currently being translated! Within a few week they will be submitted to the Ministry of Adoption and we will receive our first travel dates once they have reviewed. Please pray with us that our first travel date will be in September.
