First, I have both initiated and set up this GiveSendGo to help my parents buy their first house before March 2026 when our current apartment will be needed back by our family friends.

Second, I'd like to say a big THANK YOU! to everyone who's supported my family and myself over our two-year journey through my brain cancer with your friendship, prayers, letters, health books, visits, food, texts, phone calls, unexpected financial aid, reading my SubStack, and so many other ways! I can't say THANK YOU! enough!

So, our family, my Dad, Mom, and myself, in this journey have come to a new part of the path that we've never been before as we follow the Lord as our Good Shepherd leading us to where we will live next before March 2026.

Our current living situation has been both such a blessing and answer to prayer as when my parents transitioned out of serving 42 years at a Christian discipleship and drug rehabilitation ministry, the Lord, DAD, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, went ahead of them to open up the current downstairs apartment we're living in now through the genuine and heartfelt love from some family friends.

Unknown to anyone at the time, but the Lord had this apartment located less than ten minutes away from Clearview Cancer Institute, Huntsville Hospital, Neurology Consultants of Huntsville, and The Center for Colon and Digestive Disease all of which greatly aided in my healing recovery from my post surgery at UAB when I moved back in with my parents in October 2023 through this present day.

Every day is one step at a time, but I'm doing better each day and every MRI since the one coming out of the hospital has shown NO GROWING and NO SPREADING, which in of itself is a miracle for brain cancer patients. I continue my journey to complete and total healing! Thank you, DAD, Jesus, and Holy Spirit!

Now that I'm in much more stable and healthier state than I was when I first started this cancer journey, the Lord has set the stage for bringing us into a new season of our lives where my parents can own their first home. It was a difficult season for them moving into this apartment as life has many ups and downs that one can't plan for, but Jesus remains constant forever! That being said, DAD, Jesus, and Holy Spirit have sent many confirmations that He will provide a house for them by Faith!

So, I don't know the what, when, where, and how of Him getting them to their next place before March 2026, but I've experienced so many personal encouraging confirmations of Faith through this journey where DAD spoke to me specifically through words and visions that He would cover my expenses and then the money came in a few days later; I know by Faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), that He will bring the money in for a house however He chooses.

To breakdown the expenditures, my Dad's been approved for a $145,000 mortgage with a $4,000 down payment; while we're blessed that he was approved, 145k in this housing market will not be able to purchase a home that's not a “fixer-upper” without extra support. So, I'm asking for any assistance with the $4,000 down payment, the monthly mortgage payments as funds are very limited between my Dad's job and my disability, and any additional help to add to the $145k limit.

Since I am not tied to anything mortgage related and wanting to help my parents get a home (And still needing a place for me to live right now), I have set up this GiveSendGo for anyone who would like to donate in helping them be able to take that next step towards purchasing a house with the Lord's help.
