Help a Small Community Rebuild After Flooding in El Salvador

Recent storms and flooding have devastated parts of Comunidad Los Morillos, near the center of Caluco, El Salvador, leaving families without homes, food, or even clean water. Entire neighborhoods have been washed out — people are doing their best to survive with very little.

Our dear friend Diego and his family reached out asking for help for this small community that’s been hit especially hard. They’re known for their generosity — sharing their spring-fed farm water freely with the entire town so no one has to buy it, and even donating land for a soccer field where kids and families gather daily.

We stayed at their farm during our time in Caluco, and their kindness left a lasting impression on us. One afternoon, a little girl from the village gave our daughter a hair clip after we shared some of our children’s old toys — a simple moment that captured the deep generosity and beauty of this community. 💛

Now, Diego and his family are doing everything they can to help their neighbors rebuild — distributing food, clothing, and essentials to families who’ve lost everything.

We’re coming alongside them to raise funds for:

- Food and clean drinking water

- Basic necessities like clothing, toiletries, and household items

- Local support to help families get back on their feet

- Supplies for a Christmas gathering for the people of Comunidad Los Morillos

Every dollar given goes directly to Diego’s family, who will purchase and distribute supplies locally. Nothing is wasted.
