Four times.

That’s how many times I’ve stood toe-to-toe with cancer—and I’m still here.

I believe that’s not an accident. I believe there is purpose in my persistence, and I believe this next chapter matters.

My name is Kendra Joyce, and this is my fourth fight with Ewing Sarcoma.

The first and second battles, I followed the conventional path exclusively—chemotherapy. I trusted fully and fought as hard as I could with the tools I was given.

Along the way, I learned something that deeply shaped my journey: conventional oncology often discourages adjunctive or integrative approaches, including meaningful conversations around nutrition, metabolic health, and supportive therapies. While these treatments save lives, they frequently overlook the importance of strengthening the body as a whole. I felt called to ask deeper questions and seek more comprehensive care.

During my third battle, I participated in a clinical trial testing a chemotherapy drug traditionally used for other cancers but not historically used for ewing sarcoma. At the same time—and at great personal financial sacrifice—I chose to work with a brilliant integrative Dr and added a supplemental protocol that focused on nutrition and supplements designed to support my immune system and overall health.

The outcome was extraordinary.

Although the trial itself was deemed a success, I was the only participant to achieve disease-free status.

That experience strengthened my faith and confirmed what I had begun to believe: healing is not one-dimensional. It requires caring for the body, the mind, and the spirit together.

Now, as I face cancer for the fourth time, I feel a deep sense of peace and clarity about the path forward. I am pursuing integrative and alternative cancer treatment in Mexico, where clinics are able to combine conventional approaches with therapies that support the whole body—treatments that are often unavailable or discouraged in the U.S.

This is not about rejecting conventional medicine. It’s about building on what has already worked and stepping forward in faith, hope, and wisdom.

Why I’m Asking for Help

Seeking treatment outside the U.S. comes with significant costs, including:

• Integrative and alternative cancer therapies
• Nutritional and metabolic support protocols
• Travel, lodging, and extended care
• Ongoing monitoring and supportive treatments

After years of fighting, my financial resources have been stretched thin. I’m asking for help so I can continue this journey without fear—focused on healing and trusting God for the outcome.
