My husband Gerry Dinnen was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in April 2025, and I have left my job as a teacher to be his caregiver full time.  Through the generosity of his dear brother Michael, he was able to undergo 3 weeks of treatment at an inpatient facility in Mexico, Hope 4 Cancer in October 2025. Additional treatments based on Gerry's individual condition added up to over $2,800, and follow-up visits in February 2026 will cost an additional $12-15,000. We have promised to pay Michael back the initial $53,550 but do not have enough available funds to cover the costs, as most of our money is in retirement savings. We are turning to our community for help.  We need approximately $73,000 to cover the travel and treatment and would like to give back to Give Send Go, so we are aiming to raise $77,000 total. If you can find it in your heart, please be generous in response to our request.  Whether or not you are able to give, please pray that Gerry continue to receive God's grace, care for his two children (9 and 6), and watch them grow.
