Charla Metheny is a 42-year-old mother of four beautiful children: Erin, Andrew, Carson and Hollyn.  They love beach days, family game nights and Dutch Bros. runs.  Charla spends most of her time volunteering at the kids’ school, leading worship and choir at her church and doing all the mom things that make a home.  She has been happily married to Troy for 20 years.  

Everything changed on September 15.  Charla went to the ER with excruciating headaches. What doctors discovered was devastating: a cancerous brain tumor. It was removed just two days later, but further scans revealed widespread cancer—on her lungs, liver, rib cage, right hip, and two vertebrae. One vertebra is already fractured due to the cancer’s aggressive spread. The final diagnosis: stage 4 breast cancer.

Doctors offered traditional chemotherapy and radiation—not with hope of remission, but simply to slow the inevitable. They explained a five-tier chemo protocol, each step more intense than the last, until all options are exhausted (5-6years was the best case scenario).

Charla is choosing a different path.

She is believing for a complete miracle. And in the meantime, she’s doing what she feels is best for her body—pursuing treatments that support her immune system, and offer a chance for healing beyond what conventional medicine has promised.

These integrative therapies are advanced, used in other countries, and not covered by insurance.

Each 5-day treatment session will require out of state travel and total cost will be in the neighborhood of $30,000. Charla will begin with one round and assess its effectiveness before considering additional sessions.
