Help Our Family Rebuild After a Devastating E-Bike Battery Explosion

We never imagined our lives could change in a matter of seconds. But that’s exactly what happened when an e-bike battery exploded inside our home and everything we owned was consumed in the fire.

Our entire home went up in flames. There is nothing left.

My husband and our two dogs escaped and thank god because we have two little girls, ages 5 and 6, I was blessed to have been outside the room — but we lost everything else. The fire destroyed all of our clothes, our childrens memories , Zip drives , computers, keys, and belongings, our phones, our food, our money, our bank cards, important documents, and even the keys to my car. We walked away with only the clothes on our backs.

To make things even harder, my husband’s work truck is already broken down, leaving us without transportation or a way for him to earn income right now. We are overwhelmed, heartbroken, and trying to stay strong.

Right now, we have nowhere to go and no way to replace even the basic necessities. We urgently need help with:

• Emergency shelter/hotel costs

• Food and water

• Clothing and shoes

• Replacing phones and important documents
